Founded in 1965, Sato Wooden Containers has been making containers using wood harvested from the mountains of Gojome, where they were born and raised, to carefully and reliably deliver food that connects people.

This idea continues to be passed down to this day, and even though we make Akita cedar, we understand the different characteristics of each tree and carefully finish each piece by hand.
