みんなで食べるとおいしいよね

About KACOMI

It's delicious when everyone eats together.

Eating together, which used to be commonplace, involves sitting around a table with someone, exchanging words, and enjoying something that you couldn't get on your own.

I would like to increase that opportunity as much as possible.

Above all, Sato Wooden Containers believes that food tastes better when eaten together.

KACOMIは「みんなのお皿」です。

KACOMI is "everyone's plate".

It's kind of fun to eat together.
It's kind of delicious.

That's why I created a plate that everyone can gather around.
It's a big wooden plate.

秋田の杉

Akitasugi

Akita cedar

Akita cedar is characterized by its delicate grain and gentle texture.
It is also surprisingly light, about 1/5th that of ceramics and about 1/2 that of hardwood.
Akita cedar, which has been nurtured through harsh winters, has long been used in bento boxes, such as Magewappa, due to its hygroscopic and antibacterial properties that keep rice delicious, as well as its light weight and soft texture.

KACOMI is finished with glass painting so that it can be used on a daily basis without compromising its features and expressions, and it gently colors various ``eating'' situations.
