It takes a long time to dry and become usable as a material, but once it dries, it becomes a very stable material, so it is known as a high-quality material for building fittings and musical instruments.
The strong dark brown color and delicate brown striped pattern create a unique presence.
In Japan, it is also known as "Murasaki Tagayasan".
